12 oz Sunflower Classic Mug with Hand Painted 22k Gold Lustre Crescent Moon over the Golden Gate Bridge
This mug has been discounted due to light scuffing marks. In switching to a new gold luster, there was bound to be a learning curve! Unfortunately several mugs in this batch (including this one) taught me I could no longer clean up mistakes with acetone like I used to--the lustre residue leaves behind a shadow that was cleaned up with light sandpaper, erasing the purple shadows but leaving a light scuffing on the surface. Please see photos, I did my best to photograph it faithfully (note especially the area right above the bridge)
Sunflower is a warm orange toned yellow, glowing with warmth.
Gold Lustre pieces are not microwave or dishwasher safe.
The rim of this mug has been left raw.
All of our ceramics are handmade, and our glazes are made in-studio with our own recipes. All of our ceramics are lead-free.
All of our pottery is made by the two of us in San Francisco. Our glazes are formulated and made in-house, using non-toxic ingredients. No lead has ever been used in any of our glazes, nor in our equipment.
